The CENIEH celebrates the Semana de la Ciencia

For the first time the National Research Centre on Human Evolution celebrates Science Week at its facilities, with numerous activities including the Second Conference of CENIEH Open.



The National Research Centre on Human Evolution, has joined this year's celebration of Science Week, which in Castile and Leon will take place between 12 and 19 November. Among the activities will be performed in facilities CENIEH, highlight the Open Days II.



During three days of Burgos will tour the facility and see the work they develop their research, visits, which takes approximately 25 minutes, with expert guides who will explain the different spaces and answer questions from visitors who will enjoy addition of video projection, an exhibition of thin films and an exhibition of Bonsai, organized by the Cultural Association "Bonsai Burgos", before starting the tour of laboratories and work areas CENIEH.



Given the success of the I Open Days held in July 2009, we expect a large number of visitors to this second edition as to expedite the waiting time and avoid queuing, precedence order of arrival, and every day tickets will be distributed until all places daily (640 visitors on Friday 12 and Sunday 14, and 1280 visitors on Saturday 13). Admission is free, and every person is entitled to a maximum of two entries, and no reservations are permitted.



Being a workplace visits will be held the afternoon of Friday, November 12 (17h to 21h), on Saturday 14 in morning and evening (10h to 14h, and 17h to 21h), and Sunday morning (10am to 14pm).



Other activities for this week dedicated to the popularization of science include: Tooth Fairy Workshop for children 4-10 years (14 and 15 November) Digital Workshop Anatomy for students of the UBU (16 and 17 November), and Ceremony Award Contest "Draw a Researcher" (November 18).
