Dr. Semaw has given a speech on the early Acheulian from Gona, Ethiopia highlighting the implications for Homo erectus lithic technology and diet.
The three day conference and poster session has been completed with a day of excursion to the Dmanisi site where five well-preserved hominin skulls (Homo ergaster/erectus) were discovered.
