Alicia Churruca Clemente is a Chemistry graduate from the University of Salamanca, where she completed a Master's Degree in Supramolecular Chemistry. She also collaborated at the University’s Department of Organic Chemistry, where her she focused on the synthesis and study of supramolecular receptors for enantioselective recognition of amino acids.
She is currently working at the Centro Nacional de Investigación sobre la Evolución Humana (CENIEH), in the Geochronology and Geology Program. Specifically, her work is linked to the Electronic Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) laboratory.
