Raquel Lorenzo is a Conservator-Restorer of Archaeological and Palaeontological Heritage (ESCRBC Madrid) and Art Historian and Museum Studies Degree (University of Málaga). She has worked at several national institutions of cultural heritage and museums such National Archaeological Museum (Madrid), Archaeological Museum of Alicante, National Museum of Natural Sciences – CSIC (Madrid) and the Conservation-Restoration Department of Castellón City Council. She has also experience on field work at sites as Madinat Albalat (Cáceres) or Cueva-Ermita de San Bernabé (Burgos). Since 2016, she has been taking part at the Sierra de Atapuerca sites, and she`s a member of EIA since 2019. She is currently part of the Conservation-Restoration team at CENIEH as a Technician, developing the preventive conservation, remedial conservation and restoration procedures of the archaeo-palaeontological collections kept in the institution, aswell as those belonging to others national and international plans.
