Mario Modesto Mata (1986) is a biologist from the Complutense University of Madrid and an archaeologist from the Rovira i Virgili University. He is also an expert in statistics, big data and artificial intelligence techniques from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia and the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja. His research combines his two vocations: paleoanthropology and computation. PhD from the University of Burgos thanks to a work on the dental development of the Atapuerca hominins, he is the author of numerous articles and has participated in numerous national and international congresses and conferences. He currently holds a postdoctoral contract in Leslea Hlusko's Tied2Teeth project (ERC).
