Adrián Pablos Fernández

Adrián Pablos is a biologist with a PhD in Paleontology from the Universidad de Alcalá (UAH). Paleoanthropologist in the Atapuerca research team and postdoctoral researcher (RAMÓN y CAJAL programme) at tyhe Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). He is author of more than 44 scientific publications. He has participated in more than 40 research projects, some of them as principal investigator. He has teaching experience in different universities and national and international public research centres. He has participated in scientific outreach events related to human evolution and in university outreach courses for the general public. His main line of research deals with the study of the postcranial skeleton of prehistoric human groups through the study of taxonomic relationships, biomechanical studies and paleobiological estimations such as sex assignment and body size estimates, especially from the Atapuerca sites. He is also the co-director of the Research Project on the Archaeopaleontological Sites of the Tamajón karstic system (Guadalajara).
