It is the second traveling exhibition produced by the CENIEH Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC + i) . It is a broad didactic proposal, questionable and challenging the traditional discourse on human evolution with which we want to collaborate in the dissemination of a truthful and inclusive science, which as far as possible transcends ethnocentrism and prejudice.
The objective is to show a broad evolutionary reality, in which reproduction and survival are the focal points for the success of the species, a collective success in which both genders complement each other and in which the tribe supports its individuals.
Through its pictures elaborated by the scientific illustrator Eduardo Saiz Alonso, this exhibition seeks to question stereotypes and, in short, to pose new challenges to the general public.
José Mª Bermúdez de Castro Risueño, Joseba Rios Garaizar and Maríai Amor Barros del Río were the scientific curators of the exhibition, which has seen the light thanks to the collaboration of the Obra Social "la Caixa" and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).
