The Centro Nacional de Investigación sobre la Evolución Humana (CENIEH) and the University of Burgos have renewed today the bonds of collaboration that they have maintained for years, by signing a new protocol of action, signed by the director of CENIEH, María Martinón Torres and the chancellor of the UBU, Manuel Pérez Mateos.
Aware of the importance of strengthening their relations and joining efforts in the field of quality research and knowledge transfer between both institutions, the CENIEH and the UBU have committed to maintain and consolidate a fluid exchange and the assignment of research personnel to promote the creation of multidisciplinary research groups, which will allow them to obtain a critical mass of excellence in the field of human evolution.
Likewise, both institutions will seek the optimization of scientific information resources, through the exchange and shared use of research and academic resources, committing to actively promote collaboration in the field of knowledge transfer through joint strategies and through the publication and dissemination of documents, publications and resources on the Internet.
The protocol signed today also includes the implementation of continuing education activities, specialized training and postgraduate training in subjects related to human evolution and heritage, as well as access to specific equipment and materials for the development of research work.
