Adrián Martínez-Fernández is a Geomatics and Surveying Engineer, Master in Geodesy and Cartography Engineering and PhD in Cultural and Natural Heritage, specialised in managing geospatial data applied to heritage. Since 2020, he is the technical head of the Digital Mapping & 3D Analysis Laboratory at the National Research Center on Human Evolution (CENIEH, Spain), where he contributes to the acquisition, processing and analysis of multi-sensor, multi-temporal and multi-scale spatial data. His work is linked to the use of technologies such as satellite positioning systems, 3D scanners, drones and satellite remote sensing in surveying, mapping and 3D digitalisation projects with geographic information systems, CAD software and 3D processing software. He collaborates as a multidisciplinary researcher in archaeo-palaeontological and high mountain natural heritage projects.
