Daniel Rodríguez Iglesias graduated in History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2016 - 2021) and studied the Master's Degree in Human Evolution at the University of Burgos (2021 - 2022). Since September 2022 he has been working on his thesis at Centro Nacional de Investigación sobre la Evolución Humana (CENIEH). Her research is focused on tracing interpersonal violence in the Palaeolithic through forensic taphonomy using an experimental approach. He has participated in archaeological excavations at the sites of the Sierra de Atapuerca (Burgos), El Abrigo de la Malia and Peña Capón (Guadalajara), being a member of the research team of the Tamajón karst (Guadalajara). He has also taken part in the dissemination and popularisation projects (FCT-22-18357 and FCT-21-17052) within the framework of the European Project ERC-2020-STG-DEATHREVOL.
